What a Trick!

Though yesterday started off fun and productive (Halloween Happiness permeated the air at both home and school), by last night my husband was forcing Theraflu and orange juice into my system. Now I'm up after the witching hour (I *think*, since my computer's time and the time on the coffee maker just within view aren't displaying the same numbers), the back of my neck is unusually hot, my throat is swollen and hurts, I'm going through Kleenex left and right and I've opted for Sudafed and Advil for this go 'round. I hope I don't regret that choice.

The Theraflu knocked me out. I didn't go trick-or-treating, not even to the house across the street with my children. I answered the door three times. No fairy, witch, werewolf (THAT was a good costume) could break the illness' or drugs' hold over me. Sorry family, sorry neighbors. At least Dear Husband and Daughter were able to share some sugar goodness on my behalf.

And no, I haven't even had my flu shot yet.

Maybe I'll be feeling better in time to enjoy Sweet Paul's book when it arrives- check out his design, craft and food blog!

Never fear, I won't cough, sneeze, or even breathe on the my Giveaway Christmas banner (it's already wrapped!) whose winner will be picked from comments left on my 400th post (and links to the tutorial too!)... it's only three posts away folks!
